about how much did you spend on baby shopping including the crb changing table, diapers, clothes, toeletries, ect. how much did you spend so i can know about how much i need to start putting away=)
like an overall amount please? i know how expensive things are
I highly recommend to not buy too much before the baby is born. Just get the necessaties such as diapers, wipes, baby wash, a few soft wash cloths, lots of burp rags, a few comfy outfits, a boppy. I have yet to use:
the crib
the dresser
about 100 outfits
fancy baby wash and lotions
about 20 washcloths
etc.
You will also figure out quick what you like and what you don’t like and what makes life easier for you taking care of your baby.
Well things are really expensive.
The crib was 300 $
The changing table was 150 $
The stroller and car seat was 450 $
The crib bedding and mobile was 150 $
Than you need clothing for the baby, socks, pants, bodysuits, snowsuit if it’s winter or warm jacket, and pj’s..all that was about 500 $
And than you need body wash and shampoo, nailclipper, and so much more…if you need more info, feel free to email me

Your looking at around 3000.00 to start off with
we didnt invest in a change table, we just use the floor.
diapers well thats a different story since its pretty much a year and a half or more investment, its best just to put away 200.00 to start off with.
clothes you will get alot of when you have a shower, but if you are buying brand new from a place like lets say, walmart go around 500.00 for the first 3 months.
toiletries are pretty basic at first, but around 75.00
for a crib we spent 375.00 and that converts into a toddler bed.
a highchair we got brand new for 100.00
bouncy chair we spent 60.00
stroller we spent 275.00
small toys and activitiy centers we spent around 300.00 in the first 3 months.

Well it depends. It depends what kind of crib do you want an expensive or one that is just comfortable for your baby. Now days everything is so expensive from wipes, diapers to a crib or the mattress. My advice don’t go for fancy stuff remember she or he will grow up really fast and stop using almost everything in a blink of an eye. Don’t buy too much clothes chances are they will only use it once. Having a child is a financial responsibility and sometimes they can be expensive so try saving as much as you can. Concentrate on buying things that you will think it makes your child comfortable. Not because you love it.

$1200 for new crib, bureau. $500 for starter supply of diapers, clothes, blankets, activity center, bouncey seat etc. I bought everything new for my first one and now I regret that. I wish that I had purchased many things second-hand because they outgrow everything so quickly and don’t really wear them out.

after about 5-7 months diaper bills slowed but food bills went up and clothes, toys, etc.

All this stuff is really expensive, so if you want to save money, don’t bother with getting a changing table. The novelty of going to a specific place to change diapers will wear off quickly. You’ll want to change the diaper wherever you are at the moment. The changing table will turn into very expensive storage. Just keep an old towel/changing pad around. They are much cheaper and more portable!

The crib, my boyfriend had from his first child and the changing table was given to us, but on the rest I spent around $500. I looked for sales, had some things given to me, etc. Are there any second hand baby stores in your area? If possible, try checking those. At my local one, I got brand new things with the tags still on them for way cheaper than the store prices.
