Can you be independent and still have your man take care of you?
One more question…my bf won’t let me help with rent…how do I get him to let me help him? I feel bad that he pays for it all by himself.
Men would you take a hot girl shopping vs an ugly girl? Or do u think the ugly girl needs it more? What if u knew u weren’t getting any?
You know what…I absolutely love it when my man takes me shopping! I luv the fact that I don’t have to pay rent. I luv the fact that I get away with stuff @ work. I luv the fact that they call me princess, doll, whatever. I enjoy the benefits of bieng a woman and you should too.

I always tell my bf that I don’t want his money or anything, but he always makes sure I’m okay and everything. I like to be independent, but most likely you’ll find me spending everyone’s money (friends and family but not my bf’s)…. I think I could still be independent even if he gave me money to do what I wanted…..
Leave the money on his counter and just leave for the afternoon…lol….somehow sneak it to him….say it’s an early b’day gift or an I love you gift lol….
Oh and my bf would still take me shopping even though he wont be getting any until we’re married

I don’t think it’s wrong. I wouldn’t do it but I don’t think it’s wrong. If he wants to give it, take it. It’s different if you ask for it though. Asking for money, absolutely contradicts being independent.
I take my man shopping often. I don’t always pay for it but it’s always my idea to go in the first place.
If your man won’t let you help on rent, let him take care of it by himself. All you can do is offer. You can’t force. You’re doing your part by letting him know that you don’t want him to have to bear the brunt of taking care of everything. If he refuses, that’s on him. In your situation though, I wouldn’t just spend the money. If I wanted to help with rent and my man told me no, I’d bank the money I would’ve been paying rent with.
