Author: 1st time mom 2 be..and am so blank what to start with. My mom has already bought some stuff but I have to buy a few things too (other than clothes) please give me some ideas, what did u start with?

pretty shoes
your won clothes. it’s true you have to look for extra confi clothes. Cotton perhaps if you want to carry him most of the time. Shoes and bags for you. Big bags, flat shoes.

im 11 weeks pregnant and was wondering an apppropriate time to start shopping and do nursery ?
w shopping.. umm every week or two weeks starting 6 months pregnant( I had a miscarriage last yr march and i got a lot of baby stuff coz i got too excited 
thats why now i dont go crazy). Although the crib is set up and sheets have been washed i didnt put the sheet on the crib yet i dont want the dust to get on it. I also left mobile out for now.
I planned to put her in my room coz i want to be able to see her right next to me esp im breast feeding so all her stuff is in my room for now
But thats just me..
Hi everyone. I am 13w5d pregnant. I was wondering when would be a good time to start baby shopping. I go to the baby section at target and walmart all the time and just cant wait to start baby shopping. But when would be the best time to do so?
It doesn’t hurt to allow yourself to pick up special things here and there – if you see something neutral that’s irresistible, don’t feel guilty about buying it and putting it away. Save the big purchases for later on, though – and after the baby shower when you know what you still need.
My first baby purchase I got on my honeymoon three years ago in the Haight Ashbury district of San Francisco – a little tie-dye grateful dead onesie – so I can’t really judge anyone for jumping the gun.

Once Rubi & Hector find out the shocking news that Rubi is pregnant. They go shopping. Of course Hector is really happy and excited. On the other hand Rubi is very scared and mad because she doesn’t want a baby. Rubi hates kids. Rubi is also scared because her worst fears might come true.

When you go shopping (to the grocery store, mall, etc.) .. do you push your baby in the shopping cart or stroller? do you wear them in the sling? or do you just let them walk around the store next to you?
My 21 month old does all 4.
Today we went to Wal-mart, and she started sitting in the actual cart (not the seat.) Then, she moved to the shopping cart seat. And then, during the last leg of shopping, she walked beside me, either holding my hand or holding onto the side of the cart.
When we go to the mall, she is usually in her little stroller or walking (that depends on if someone else is with us.
When we take walks outside, she is in her pouch sling.
I find that just letting her do which ever one *she* wants to do is much easier than trying to force her to walk/be carried/ride in the stroller.
Edit~ Cupajoe…that Toddler Patapum carrier looks awesome. My daughter loves her pouch sling, but I have been on the look-out for a new carrier for her.

I feel a little behind only cause at 5 months i still have no big furniture, dresser, crib, carseat etc. i have clothes up the ass and bassinets and such…but where are you with buying baby stuff?
Don’t feel bad I’m 6 months pregnant and i’m in the same predicament you’re in. I have too many outfits, I have the bassinet but nothing else. I’m behind because I was planning to move and I wanted to get the major items once I got to the new place. Don’t worry you aren’t too behind. Make a list of all the items you need before you begin shopping and it should make things easier. Good luck
