I suck at giving gifts and I am looking for a bit of help this year with my gift shopping. Here’s some information:
She loves to garden (Im looking for any new gardening tools that she would like)
Her job is cleaning houses (So maybe some device that could help her out with that)
Also, I’m a bit strapped on money right now, so I would prefer it if the gift was cheap.
Thanks!
My girlfriend’s daughter is a brat–plain and simple. I have tried to get the message across to her that for eveyone’s sake she had to do something.
I was out doing Christmas shopping and in this gift shop saw this little paddle with the words "Heat for the Seat" written on it and a cartoon pic of a kid bending over with a red rear.
I had a moment of ephiphany. I recalled the legend that Santa has been known to deliver a bag a coal and a bundle of switches to naughty kids (in fact I have mentioned this to my own a couple of times).
So I bought the paddle and plan on wrapping it up as a gift from Santa. In Hallmark they had these tiny bags of coal to give as a joke –so I am going to include that.
I also bought a nice gift.
I am very close with my gf. She knows how I feel. She feels spanking would be a good idea–but is a waffler. Whether she does or not I want to send a serious message there needs to me discipline in a funny way.
What do you think?
So right now I’m doing my holiday gift shopping and I came across an item (a cutely shaped incense burner) that I think two of my friends would like. Both like burning incense and I think they would both appreciate it. They aren’t friends and rarely speak. Would it be a risky or impolite move to get them both the incense burner?
My husband’s new boss’s daughters (twins!) are turning 1 and we’re going to their birthday party. Needless to say, my husband wants to get them a great present and he has nominated me to do the gift shopping! Is it a given that if you get a gift for twins you have to get them the same thing?
Any suggestions for a really good gift for twin girls turning 1?
Thanks for your suggestions.
I haven’t in the past, just a thing or two here and there. This season though, I’m seeing a lot of great ideas online that wouldn’t be available in local stores. It just seems like you spend so much on shipping though… I wonder if it’s actually worth it. Do shipping costs deter you at all? Or do you just suck it up and feel good that you’re buying what you were looking for?
Los Angeles……..I’ll be going to Warner & Universal Studios, Walk of Fame, Venice Beach, etc.
Is there an article that shows these statistics?
I have {content} to spend this year. On top of the bad economic situation, I’ve been paying out of pocket to attend college and now my husband and I are separating so I’m in the midst of new rental costs too. I would like to just skip the gift giving (and receiving) parts this year! Why does everything have to be so expensive? I feel like if I can’t afford at least a gift for everyone it’s not worth trying b/c they won’t want/appreciate it.
I shook the barrel with cream soda and put it under the gift shop, but it only stayed for like 2 seconds and it wouldn’t let me get into my inventory to get the net, nails, and hammer.
My computer must be slow that’s probably why the gift shop falls back down again. But I’m not sure about that.
First, get the balloon box. Its in the lighthouse. Then go to the gadget room and click on the helium pump or whatever its called. Then go to the dock and get under the gift shop. Shake the cream soda, but not to much. Make sure you shake enough. If you mess up get another barrel at the lighthouse. Then go to the town and get a balloon. Put the the balloon on, then the net, then the nails, and then the hammer. Hope this helps ; )
Beavis and Butthead (or rather, our poor impressions of them) run a shop. Stupidity ensues.
